Guidelines and Requirements for Attendees

Welcome to our Speed Dating Event! To ensure that all participants enjoy a safe, respectful, and engaging experience, we ask that you carefully review and agree to the following terms and conditions before registering and attending. By participating in this event, you acknowledge and accept these terms in full.

Eligibility and Registration

•    All attendees must be at least 18 years old on the date of the event. Proof of age may be required at registration or entry.

•    Participants must complete the official registration form and pay any applicable fees prior to the event. Registration is subject to availability and may be closed once capacity is reached.

•    Each participant is responsible for providing accurate and truthful information during registration, including their name, age, contact details, and any other requested data.

•    The organizers reserve the right to refuse registration or entry to any individual at their sole discretion, including but not limited to those who provide false information or fail to comply with these terms and conditions.

Event Logistics and Participation

•    The event will follow a structured format: participants will engage in brief, timed conversations with a series of other attendees. Each interaction will last for a set period, typically between 3 to 8 minutes, as determined by the organizers.

•    Participants are expected to move promptly to their assigned seats or stations as directed. Any delays may impact the event schedule and other participants' experiences.

•    Attendees will be provided with materials to record their preferences or notes about each interaction, if applicable.

•    Matches will be determined based on mutual interest, as indicated by the records submitted at the event’s conclusion. The organizers will facilitate post-event connections in accordance with privacy and consent policies.

Code of Conduct

•    All participants must treat others with respect, courtesy, and dignity. Harassment, discrimination, offensive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

•    Unwanted physical contact, inappropriate remarks, or any actions that make another participant feel uncomfortable are strictly prohibited.

•    If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, inform an event staff member immediately. The organizers will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removal from the event without refund.

•    The event is intended for genuine social interaction. Commercial solicitation, promotion of products or services, or distribution of advertising materials is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the organizers.

Privacy and Data Protection

•    Your personal information will be collected and processed solely for event administration, matchmaking, and communication purposes. The organizers are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable laws.

•    Contact details shared during the event will only be exchanged between participants who have mutually expressed interest, unless explicit consent is provided for broader sharing.

•    The organizers may take photographs or video during the event for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please notify staff prior to the start of the event.

•    All records and data related to your participation will be securely stored and disposed of in accordance with data protection regulations.

Health and Safety

•    Participants must comply with any health and safety measures in place, including sanitation guidelines, masking, or social distancing requirements, as applicable at the time of the event.

•    If you feel unwell or display symptoms of illness prior to the event, you are asked to notify the organizers and refrain from attending.

•    In case of an emergency, follow instructions from event staff and designated safety personnel.

Cancellation, Refunds, and Changes

•    Should you wish to cancel your registration, please provide written notice to the organizers as soon as possible. There are no refunds. If sufficient notice is provided and the resulting empty spot can be successfully filled from the waiting list, your fee can be applied to a future event. 

•    The organizers reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the event at any time due to circumstances beyond their control. In such cases, registered participants will be notified and any applicable refunds or credits will be processed accordingly.

Limitation of Liability

•    The organizers are not responsible for the outcome of any interactions, matches, or relationships resulting from the event.

•    Participation is at your own risk. The organizers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience incurred during or as a result of the event.

•    Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The organizers do not accept liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

•    Advice and information shared during the event should not be considered professional guidance. You are encouraged to exercise discretion and judgment in all interactions.

Intellectual Property

•    All materials, content, logos, and branding related to the event are the intellectual property of the organizers and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

•    Audio or video recording during the event by participants is only permitted with prior approval from the organizers.

Dispute Resolution

•    Any disputes, claims, or concerns arising from participation in the event should be directed to the organizers in writing for prompt review and resolution.

•    In the event that a resolution cannot be reached, participants agree to submit to mediation or arbitration in accordance with local laws.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

•    By registering for and attending the speed dating event, you agree to comply with all policies, guidelines, and instructions provided by the organizers.

•    The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of significant changes prior to the event.
